How to make an iced tea, rules to follow
1. For basic iced tea, calculate one tea bag per one cup water (for 8 cups of iced tea, use 8 tea bags).
2. Let the tea brew in hot, just-boiled water until fully steeped, then let cool.
3. Don’t add raw sugar into a chilled iced tea. Always add sweetener while your tea is still steaming so it dissolves fully. Or, stir in a homemade simple syrup into your chilled iced tea (more on that later).
4. Don’t over-steep. Ten minutes is plenty of time, then discard your tea bags. Over-steeping can make for bitter tea.

Iced teas are increasingly popular.
They are refreshing and excellent to enjoy at barbecues and family gatherings, now that the good weather begins. No preservatives or artificial flavours, and are a healthy and natural beverage.
With the advantage that, when preparing them at home, you can control the amount of sugar or sweeteners that you add. In addition, you can complement them with a wide variety of fruits, herbs and flavoured ice cubes.
