You finally have an afternoon off and want to relax? Or pamper yourself a bit on the weekend, even if it’s raining? It doesn’t always have to be a visit to the spa or a bubble bath at home. Sometimes a comfortable armchair, a good book, a large teapot for many cups of your favorite tea and of course a sweet treat is enough.
Today we show you a new way to give your muffins a special taste and healthy twist. Our secret ingredient is called Oolong tea, also known as blue tea. With Semper Tea Oolong we resort to a real gourmet tea, which means: 100% organic tea in a pyramid bag for an authentic and intense taste.

The preparation is child’s play because the cup of yoghurt serves as a measuring unit. That’s why the little ones are welcome to join in.
Ingredients for 12 pieces:
- 1 cup of natural yoghurt (serves as a measuring unit)
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup organic oolong tea from Semper Tea – concentrated
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 15 g baking powder
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
Beat the eggs together with the yoghurt, then stir in the oolong tea. Add the sunflower oil, sugar, pinch of salt and finally the flour together with the baking powder. Fill the muffin tins with the batter and bake at 180°C for about 18 minutes.
